Leslieville in 2026: A Complete Neighbourhood Guide

Leslieville is the east-end neighbourhood everyone in Toronto has heard of but most people west of the Don Valley haven't actually spent time in. That's their loss. Bounded roughly by Eastern Avenue, Coxwell, Gerrard, and the Don River, it's a mix of century Victorian and Edwardian homes, newer lofts, and some of the best independent dining in the city.

I sell a handful of homes in Leslieville every year and I live about ten minutes away, so I know it well. Here's the full tour.

Prices

The average detached sale in Leslieville in Q1 2026 was $1.48M — about 8% above where it sat this time last year. Semis are averaging $1.05M, and townhomes in the $1.1M–$1.3M range. Condos in the new-build buildings along Queen East are trading in the low $700Ks for one-bedrooms.

Schools

Leslieville Junior Public School is the elementary zone for most of the neighbourhood and has a strong reputation. For French immersion families, the Grenoble Public School in East York is within short drive. Riverdale Collegiate is the catchment high school and remains one of the top-ranked public high schools in the TDSB.

Eating and hanging out

Bonjour Brioche is still the best breakfast on the east side. Maha's for Egyptian brunch, Descendant for Detroit-style pizza, Ruby Watchco for date nights, and the Leslieville Farmers' Market runs every Sunday from June through October in Greenwood Park.
